Taylor, X-men, Davinci code, Tyra, etc

Taylor Hicks from Alabama was named the 5th American Idol. It is really obvious that Hicks will win. I can say that it's not even a tough competition since his final "opponent" would be Katherine Mcphee. She has been placed as a bottom performer few times during the show. For me, it could be Paris or Chris or Mandisa who have won the title.

I've seen the last installment of X-men trilogy, "X-men, the last stand", yesterday, at the Gateway mall. We were so early at the mall so we can have a good seat at the "Globe Platinum Cinema", but we were surprised to know that X-men is only shown at their other cinemas and "The Davinci Code" was still at the GPC. The Davinci Code is, indeed, very controversial that people would really be curious about it. According to the saleslady for movie tickets, the Xmen wasn't showd at the GPC because the Davinci code is still attracting alot of movie goers. One thing came into my mind and I asked myself, Would these mean that Filipino movie goers are now open-minded? I mean, are we ready to these such films that would touch some sensitive topics? Or is it just another indication that Pinoy are still fond of "pang-uusyoso"? I just hope not. I hope that we are now brave enough to face changes and not scared to cope with it. There's nothing wrong with getting out of the "conventional". For as long as we are not breaking any laws, we can move to a different level and let us not be mislead by a "standard". We have our own free will and there's nothing wrong with seeking truth.

This certain "Congressman" should realized that watching the film would not definitely affect the morality of being a Catholic. I really don't get the point of his "pang-eepal". The author of the book already confirmed that the story was all fiction and if you actualy read the book, you will understand the real concept of it. If a catholic has a strong faith of christian beliefs and teaching, therefore no film nor book would let this belief be ruined. It would really be depend on the people and no one can dictate what would and would not do wonder on our morale.

Going back to Xmen 3, let me say, It was definitely a hit! We were able to see on it's first day. So far, it's the best X-men film for me. Some say it's not satisfying and the story is definitely different from the comics or from the cartoon. Well, they can't fit all the characters and the story in just one movie. Wel, it' better-off that way.

2 days ago, I was able to see "over the hedge" too. I love Animated movies, from "Shrek" to "Finding nemo", from "The Incredibles" to "Shark tale". Unfortunately, I fell asleep in the middle of the film because I don't get much sleep then.

I'm having a habit of watching "Tyra" nowadays. She seems so natural to me when it comes to hosting. Well, oprah is, but the show's overrated. aside from her talk show, I'm also hooked with the cycle 4 of "America's next top supermodel" and although I know that it would be "Naima" who will win, I'm getting the fussed with the show. Uhm, not to forget the bulky reality shows on ETC and Star world.

Have you a ride a bus on your way home and u suddenly realized that it was heading to a different path? Meaning it was bounded to a different location? well I did. Last weekend, I went home to pamapanga and I took a bus and I thought that it was bounded to dagupan but all of a sudden, I was stunned when I was told that it was actually heading to "cabanatuan".... and to top it all, we were already at the NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) and I can't just be dropped of! I felt I was like so stupid not to realized that the sign was clearly displayed as Cabanatuan and not Dagupan.... Luckily, they dropped me at this Mall in Pulilan, Bulacan and at that mall, there's a terminal for Vans and FX that is routed to SM Pampanga, from there, I will be riding another Jeepney which from Sn Fernando to Angeles City. And after that long and adventurous trip, that supposed an hour travel became 3 hours!

Anyway, have you also encounter a person to whom you've thought, to be "at your side", and suddenly at the climatic part of the story, where all the characters all meet in a very intense scene, a twist will suddenly arise or should I say, a theory will be formulated after gathering all the hypothetical thoughts you had? or are you familiar with a scene where in the confrontation has to be made and the "supporting actor" confesses that he's a member of a conspiracy or of the plot on how to actually bring you down? Yes, "Mala-pelikula" but the weirdest part is that, two of the person who caused the most painful misery one can ever givewill suddenly join forces just to crushed you and your life?

If your gonna asked me, I've been all there. I've encountered more than what these silly movie has shown. I just don't know if I don't choose the right people I trust or maybe I'm a favorite victim of these people who doesn't have consideration with other's feelings. Why can't we just move on and face our own lives? If we chose to live with full of bitterness that the past has caused you, you can never move on and you can never be happy. You can plot the most hideous things against a person but remember, what comes around always goes around.

update..

Time flies. I'm done with my CommBay at work. It lasted for a month and a week, wheeee!!!!. I'll be goin home soon to pamapanga since I haven't seen my bestfriend for a while and so was my Family. Brooke is growing now, and longer.. hehehehehe. I haven't been into work for the past 3 days. I got a fever and a flu and it made me stuck in our house. On the lighter side, I am now a regular employee of my current Company though I still have some disputes on my pay, I'm just glad that I passed the probationary period.

What else, hmmmnn, yah, I've seen Mission Impossible: 3, I might say, the movie was superb though I'm not a fan of Tom. The action scenes are brilliant, the special effects and all. The twist might be something very conventional but I might say, I was impressed. Phillip Seymore Hoffman's role is very "astig" to me. I like it. hehehehe. I loved the way "Ethan Hunt's" group had this Adventure stuff at the Vatican City, it made me move at the edge of my seat.

As far as I can remember, I was only Impressed by Tom by the Movie, "Collateral" since I like his role on the at film. Other than that, I find him very superficial in all of his achievements and endeavors...

I'm looking forward for "Xmen 3" and the ever, T"he Davinci Code". It's getting popular due to the fact that is is indeed controversial. I don't wanna cross the line of it's controversy for I still have a strong faith with catholic teachings. On the ohter hand, I am, too, fascinated with the Novel, so better not comment on it. Speaking of, I'm not yet done with "Deception Point", I've heard it's also good. I can't see any vacant time and I'm also finishing the 6th Installment of Harry potter Book, "the Half-blood prince". I read the Internet version on it last year but I want to savor of reading a hard-binded book.

Another thing is that I'm hook with this PBB teen edition. I don't know but I find myself waiting for the Updates in s2dio 23 and the primetime show on ABS. I find the chinese girl, Kim, and the teen Mom, Jamelia, pretty. That boy, Joaquin, reminded me of Joner, an old buddy. Wala lang, it is just entertaining how these Kids got so brave enough to show their emotions. Well I am, during those days.. hehehehe..


We we're plannin to go on a vacation this May, and i hope it will push-through. I don't want to rely over and over with team buildings, some end up boring, hehehehe. Puerto Gallera is one of our choices.

I have this song on my mind, I guess it's entitled "Beauitiful Sunshine", it is an alternative but I forgot the name of the band. I hope I could still search for it. By the way, Paris of American Idol was the voted out recently. I should say it will be Chris or that Katheryn who renders her own version of songs every week. Some of her rendition made me annoyed.....

I'll be posting my next set of "open letters beginning this month. Moving on I guess is alot more necessary nowadays...
