I've seen the movie Brokeback Mountain at the Gateway Mall this afternoon. The Film was good. Ang Lee was brilliant. He's well-known for panoramic shots. Brokeback Moountain is located in Wyoming. I can't hardly undersatand some of their speaking lines because they have a hard southern accent.
There are some scenes which are not relevant to the plot thought these scenes are magnificently crafted... you'll enjoy each scenes despite of irrelevance to the wholeness of the film.
I hope Michelle Williams will win because she's awesome! I really admire her acting on that film. Anne hathaway is also an all-time favorite of mine, her acting ability has been enhanced. She has embraced mature roles with confidence and I hope she will be given more roles such as her "hostile' role in Brokeback.
I've also seen "Walk the Line" during my weekdays-off (for the first time..). Draggy! that's all I can say. It's another "Ray"..... the life of an artist a few dacades back... their rise and fall..& sex, drugs and rock and roll... fortunately Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoeniz starred in that film... Reese also grown up from her acting style, no more blonde attitude as they say.
Back in Gateway Mall, It is my first time to watch at the Globe Platinum Cinema. It's very expensive but it is worth paying. With the lazy-boy and 180 degrees murals (did I get it right?) and a free pop corn bucket and a medium sized soda, you can have the luxury for only P299.99.
I'll be looking forword for X-men 3, Pirates of the carribean 2, and MI3 in that cinema.... How I wished I've watched Narnia and Harry Potter in that Cinema as well..... hehehehe
